Singapore angel network
This is my first attempt at mapping Singapore’s angel investor network using kumu. Click on the image below to open the map in kumu.
(Updated the link. Here is the previous link)
These are the startups that I used for my map. They aren’t all high tech. I’ll be adding more in my next iteration. Let me know if you can recommend any.
- Referral Candy
- Coda Payments

Here are some notes on how to use the map.
When you hover over an element, you can see who is connected.
Clicking on an element or a connection opens the left pane. For elements I have tagged the startups that they are funding. You can also click on the href to get details about the investor. Luckily kumu did this for me.
I have increased connection thickness based on the number of common links. When two investors invest in the same startup, I consider that as one link. If the same two investors invest in another startup that is another links for the same pair. You can see three big blobs – these are startups with many investors – Nitrous.IO, Pie and Redmart.
Kumu connection strength
Click on the connections to see the startups which connect them.
Let me know if you would like me to create a similar network for some other country. I need the names of the startups to create the network.
